Only ten days later, Charles and Robert fly at an altitude of 3000 meters with an hydrogen balloon. These balloons are not steerable but pushed by the wind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In 1852<\/strong>, a french engineer, Henri Giffard, conceive and fly the first steerable balloon equipped with a propeller which rally Paris to Saint Quentin en Yvelines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In 1884<\/strong>, Charles Renard and Arthur Kerbs, achieve the first closed circuit flight aboard the airship \u00ab\u00a0La France\u00a0\u00bb starting from Meudon, depot Y.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In 1990<\/strong>, The Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin fly his first rigid airship.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/dirisolar.com\/Projets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/graf_dirigeable_Z.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-381\" alt=\"graf_dirigeable_Z\" src=\"http:\/\/dirisolar.com\/Projets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/graf_dirigeable_Z-300x194.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"194\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dirisolar.com\/Projets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/graf_dirigeable_Z-300x194.jpg 300w, http:\/\/dirisolar.com\/Projets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/graf_dirigeable_Z.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>1910-1914, <\/strong><\/em>\u00a0the first commercial company in regular transport, DELAG, is created in Germany and carries over one hundred thousand passengers aboard its airships.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>May 6th 1937,<\/em> <\/strong>the Hindenburg airship crashes in New Jersey.
